Wok Star Supper Club x Hutong Miami: A Curated Northern Chinese Feast with a Miami Twist

We kick off 2025 with a special Wok Star Supper Club at Hutong Miami—a world-renowned, contemporary Northern Chinese restaurant in Brickell. Join us Sunday, March 16, at 6 PM for an exclusive evening of exquisite flavors, curated menu, and curated like-minded guests.

The experience begins with a Meet & Greet at Hutong’s stunning bar, where guests can get to know each other and sip a welcome complimentary Dona Rosalba Rosé.  Guests can also enjoy a robust list of exotic cocktails like Comfortably Numb and Zen Garden, available a la carte.  

The curated menu features dim sum dishes like Lamb Bao & Wagyu Beef Mille-feuille, or a Truffle Mushroom Bao for vegetarians. For the main event, Hutong’s signature dishes take center stage like Peking Duck.

ENTERTAINMENT

A dazzling show-stopping Flaming Peking Duck presentation will set you on fire(not literally!).  As night falls, the restaurant’s 70-foot hand-carved wood wall comes alive with a dazzling light show.

This exclusive dining experience is by reservation only with limited seating.

Phuc Yea hosts Exclusive Dinner with Wok Star Supper Club

Start getting excited cause my next Wok Star Supper Club is a collaboration with Phuc Yea, a three-time Michelin Bib Gourmand winner for an exclusive 4-course CURATED dining experience, Sunday, November 17 in Miami’s MIMO district. Guests will be welcomed with a complimentary glass of rosé bubbly sponsored by Dona Rosalba at 6 PM, followed by dinner at 6:30 PM.

Located in Miami’s MIMO district, Phuc Yea’s three distinct dining areas are centered around the bar. We’ll be surrounded with art by local pop artist, Miguel Paredes, he painted the majority of the intricate wall murals.

CURATED 4-COURSE MENU

You’re in for a treat, what an incredible menu. Chef Cesar Zapata and Ani Meinhold have curated a four-course dinner showcasing Phuc Yea’s blend of unique, bold Southeast Asian and Latin flavors, all designed to be enjoyed family-style. As Ani mentioned, “Mixing temperature and acidity and crunch is very important to our dining experience.” They’ve organized a Vegan menu as well.

Wok Star Eleanor Hoh is a Miami food personality (@wokstar) who’s been in the Miami food scene as a wok cooking teacher, blogger, event curator/programmer, producer and influencer. Started in 2006, these gatherings are centered around celebrating Asian culture and cuisine. About Dona Rosalba 
Introducing Dona Rosalba, a Rosé bubbly wine crafted in Mexico from Merlot grapes with hints of black cherry and pink pepper. Dona Rosalba will debut as a welcome drink for this exclusive dining experience. A perfect introduction to a robust fish centric menu for the evening.  

Pietro Antonio Morelli, a wine consultant, sommelier and founder of his own creative agency spent over 20 years bringing the dream of Dona Rosalba to life after working with award winning Prosecco producers. His journey spans from consultancy to restaurant ownership, all while creating memorable wine experiences blending his Italian heritage with his passion for wine.

Belly Fish Hosts Wok Star Supper Club

The next unique dining experience in Miami for my next Wok Star Supper Club is a fusion of “Omakase & Keiseki” hosted by Belly Fish in their sleek new Coral Gables restaurant on Sunday, September 29, 6pm. This Wok Star Supper Club Event is more than just a dinner, it’s a unique dining experience, it’s DIFFERENT and EXCLUSIVE from just visiting there on your own, see below. It’s about connecting, exploring Asian cuisine, and celebrating togetherness.

Co-founder & Chef Rodrigo has personally curated the best so you don’t have to think about what’s best to order. That’s what “omakase” means, chef’s choice. The “keiseki” refers to multi- courses, some family style so you get to taste more variety and not fill up on one dish.
