The debut of Newt Miami: Experiments in Light, Color & Sound is here! Part architectural installation, part performance, and totally interactive. Unveiling launch party promises to be an exciting synesthesia with music adapted to 19 stories of brilliant animation at the Inter-Continental Hotel in downtown Miami! Co-founded by PR maven, Dejha Carrington and composer, Kelly Nunes.

Grand opening in Miami’s Upper Eastside
Chef partners, John Gallo and Rene Reyes are opening a new, freestyle American eatery with small plates paired with craft beers and wine. They met 10 years ago at Casa Tua and have worked at Barceloneta and Pubbelly Sushi, no slouches! Glad to hear they are not compromising on quality of ingredients and flavor and delivering a “memorable experience”! Love name “Pinch Kitchen”, supposed to reflect how they cook…pinch of spices, garnishes or whatever, that’s how I cook, yay! Look forward to tasting their cooking.

Vagabond Restaurant and Bar
Miami’s 12 hottest chefs and taquerias led by Vagabond host Chef Alex Chang, will showcase their signature taco, each bartender making a tequila cocktail to pair with each taco. The Grand Opening will be a delicious community garden party with a special live performance by Elastic Bond and Alma Dance Theater. Very excited about this pop-up community outdoor vibrant space concept developed by founder & CEO, Della Heiman. Miami’s first culinary incubator with four food trucks along with a pop-up bar, an eco-friendly concept created by Chef Ken Lyon and beverage guru Ryan Goodspeed. The four pop ups are Della Test Kitchen by Della Heiman with her customizable menu with plant-based Della Bowls that pop with flavor and color, Myumi a traditional omakase sushi experience on wheels or savor Middle Eastern shawarma and falafel at The Arabian Knife. Vibe 305 will focus on American influenced cuisine and operated by Empowered Youth with Chef Brad Kilgore’s guiding hand. The 2nd annual plant-based food and wine festival returns to Miami. Events include upscale dinners, film screening, garden parties, and a Southern brunch, all leading up to a large-scale outdoor festival and grand tasting featuring food, wine, juices, music, gifts, organic body care, clothing, yoga, etc. Featured are some of the most talented speakers, chefs, celebrities, athletes and authors for a fun, educational, sexy, hip (and most of all, delicious!) week.
