Joe's Tiki Grill & Sushi Bar

July 7, 2013 By Eleanor Hoh Leave a Comment

When there’s a nice breeze and not too humid, it’s good to take advantage of it! So we headed to Joe’s Tiki Bar & Sushi Grill in Hollywood. It’s a funky Tiki hut on the water, my hubby said it reminds him of the Keys. There were huge catfish, obviously getting too well fed. So enjoyable watching boats going by.
We always order cheese burger & salad to share. It’s adequate, nothing special. Their menu is not cheap (above $20 entrees for lunch) for a funky place but burger is under $10, comes with slaw and pickles. We swapped fries with sweet potato fries for $1, so worth it, yum!
Live music started kicking in, two vocalists with sultry voices provide entertainment from 2-8 Sundays.
I much prefer this place to the over rated Le Tub next door!
