Cooking feels to like a treat, the combination of flavors. I love the tasting as I am cooking, the least I like is when it ends or cleaning up. But sharing it with others even leftovers is awesome. I am new to your blog and I love it.

Congratulations, Laura!! 🙂 I want to really encourage you in your journey with your kids. Having them help in the kitchen is the best way to get them to love healthy foods and make good choices. My kids are grown now, but it is so much fun doing the same with my grandkids. 🙂
Best wishes!!

Thank you for this amazing opportunity to win one of these great books. To be honest, the reason why I want to win a BOOK is because it gives me the same homey feeling I have while reading my mom’s notebook of recipes or one of the books she passed on to me (old and used but still carrying the notes she made on the borders regarding the recipes). One can always find a recipe on line, but reading it from a book makes it special, plus you get the opportunity to pass on this treasure of culinary experience to your kids:)))

Thanks for your wonderful comment about making your mom making notes on the recipes, it’s so personal. Where do you live? and are you already a subscriber or how did you hear about this?

I would like to win because cooking is a life long journey of discovery and experiances in the art of living!
There simply nothing I don like about cooking ……. for me….its my canvas (pan) my brush (wooden spoon) and my pigments……tomatoes, onion, peppers, garlic……and I am PICASSO!
Micheal cause he is PICASSO!!!!

Henri, this comment is so very YOU, Wok Star! You are a designer, so you’re already a creative. Great chance of winning.

I don’t know that I deserve a cookbook more than anyone else, but I do know that I deserve an equal chance to win, and I’m really excited that you are offering that. 🙂
I looked up both the cookbooks and read the reviews. It is really difficult to pick one as they both look amazing.
I’ve finally decided that if I win, I will pick Michael’s Genuine Food.

In my daily attempt to feed my family healthy, delicious foods, I could use either of these cookbooks, but I think Michael’s Genuine Food would be a great place to start. I also hope to turn my budding foodie kids into good cooks too. Thanks for the wonderful giveaway!
