1) BEST WOK & TOOLS
CAST IRON WOK – 15” lightweight, thin walled, round bottom.
- SEASONED – REVEAL the wok is SEASONED under shipping coat which requires only a WASH of shipping coat, DRY, FRY with onions. Videos will be provided when you order.
- NATURAL NON STICK – it is eco-friendly, cast iron improves with use, the more patina you build, it becomes a natural non stick and tough surface and can handle a metal spatula and easier to clean.
- FLAVORS YOUR FOOD – Remember your mom or granny used cast iron skillets? They knew it’s the best material for cooking anything! Well, my mom taught me to cook using this lightweight, thin walled cast iron wok.
- LIGHTWEIGHT – weighs about 3 1/2 pounds, I can lift it with one hand vs 12 pound woks which require 2 people to lift it. 2 handles make it balanced vs one handle that sticks out and get in the way and tip when there’s food in it.
- IDEAL SIZE – 15″ diameter (37 cm) with wide opening makes it an adjustable size pan, from small to large.
- ROUND BOTTOM – a natural curve for stir frying and keeps frying action in the center. This prevents food falling out of your wok and onto your counter.
- PERSONALITY – each is unique. They are cast in a mold but finished by hand in the final stage. This wok is not shiny like stainless or fancy but has a beauty Japanese call, Wabi Sabi, a rustic simplicity.
- VERSATILE ONE PAN COOKING! Of course best for stir frying but you can use it to make oxtail stew, 5 Minute Wonder soup, steam tamale, limitless. I even make my mom’s Malaysian Chicken curry in it.
- EVEN CONDUCTION – Cooks evenly, NO hotspots and retains the heat well. It can go from stovetop to oven.
- UNIVERSAL PAN – you can cook ethnic foods from Italian Frittata to Peruvian Lomo Saltado, limitless.
WOK LID
Perfect for steaming, steam frying, keeping food hot, cover for soups and stews.
It’s light and stainless steel so it won’t rust.
SPATULA
This special stainless steel spatula with a curved edge matches the curve of your round bottom wok so stir frying is a natural motion. It has a cool touch teak handle. It can cut meat and veggies in the wok by applying a slight rocking motion with pressure. The raised sides of the spatula allow you to scoop liquid so you only need ONE tool. Sourced from Thailand.
WOK MITTS
These unique magnetized mitt set comes in your KIT in a variety of designs. They work really well, the magnet side stays on the left handle and velcrose side on right, see photo gallery. Made by dedicated Haitian seamstresses.
CADDY ORGANIZER

Joe & Cristina –
I wanted to take just a minute and thank you for the Wok Star kit we bought at your class. I think that kit essentially saves the buyer from making all the mistakes in the book, which I have made, and I wish I’d gotten it way back when I first started to enjoy Asian cooking. First I bought a wok with a flat bottom for an electric stove, that could never get hot enough overall, but had several spots where everything burned. Then I tried a nonstick — big mistake. At high temps, the nonstick comes off and into your food.
Then I bought some cast iron-ware: a skillet, dutch oven, and wok. The wok was great, except it took a while to heat up, took a long time to cool down, and was so heavy that my wife couldn’t lift it. It took both of us to cook with it.
You’ve found the perfect items, and the wok is fantastic — cast iron, heats fast and holds enough heat that it doesn’t cool down upon adding the food items; it’s got a very nice nonstick coat building up with the seasoning, and it’s light enough for non-weightlifters to use. With your kit and the butane stove, we’ve got the perfect setup now. I just wish I hadn’t wasted all that money before finding your kit and stove!
Thanks so much!

I gave this as a Christmas gift for my husband. It was a hit for the whole family. My daughters were eager to learn how to use a wok and helped very enthusiastically with our first meal. Thanks so much for this creative, fun and healthy gift for our family.

One of the big selling points for me is that you seasoned the wok for me. I remember having to get the coating off of my old one and trying to heat it with getting the sides as well. When my old one got ruined – that just seemed like such a big job. So that may be a thing to stress on your website, or in the searches. I know there are a lot of people that feel out of our depth going through that process on our own.
Anyway – thanks again. Our anniversary is the 4th so we are planning to do a stir fry like the old days 😁. We used to get a bunch of veggies and stir fry them and use a bottled stir fry sauce. I’m excited to use the Wok Star method and get a much better taste!!
